Cinematize 2 for Windows Now Available in Box Version

San Jose, California - October 25, 2005 - Miraizon®, a San Jose-based digital media software company, announced today that the box version of its DVD movie clip extractor application, Cinematize® 2 for Windows, is now available.  Cinematize 2 is a highly acclaimed software package that allows users to extract audio and video clips off of any unencrypted DVD and save them in formats compatible with major applications such as Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft PowerPoint, or even iTunes or an iPod.

The box version of Cinematize 2 for Windows is priced at US$69.95 and is available for purchase immediately from the company’s online store. The software will also soon become available through major US retail stores.  The downloadable version of this software has been available through the company’s online store since February 2005.  The software also runs on the Macintosh platform, and the Macintosh box version of the software is already available through the company’s online store as well as through major US retail stores.

"We’re very happy to release the box version of Cinematize 2 for Windows.  Although the downloadable version of this product has been very popular among video and audio professionals and enthusiasts, we believe the box version will reach a much broader audience.  Given that there is nothing else like it on the market, I’m confident that Windows users who work with DVDs will come to rely on Cinematize as a critical part of their workflow," said the CEO and founder of Miraizon, David Salamon.

With Cinematize 2, users can extract clips as short as fraction of a second or as long as a complete movie. Cinematize 2 offers an interface simple enough for novice users, yet with powerful enough features and performance to satisfy even demanding audio and video professionals. Since its release, tens of thousands of customers have used Cinematize to incorporate DVD clips into their presentations, to create movie highlights collections, to edit recorded TV programs, or to create audio clips for CDs, iPods, and iTunes.
